The Outreach Program provides the opportunity for children from the inner city and those from disadvantaged circumstances to develop self-awareness, self-confidence, and self-discipline. Riding lessons, summer camps, or field trips serve those without opportunity or resources.

Sutton Middle School students and teachers are raving about their experience with the Equine Facilitated Learning program at Chastain Horse Park. Under the guidance of a certified instructor and educator, students work in the stimulating, creative environment of a barn with a proven curriculum to improve academics, life skills and social awareness. The program promotes English conversation for Sutton’s ESL students, and their journaling activities passionately describe experiences with the horses. A win for everyone involved!

Outreach



Spaces available. To have a potential instructor contact you, e-mail lessons@chastainhorsepark.org with age, experience, contact information, and availability. Chastain Horse Park’s students range from pre-schoolers to successful local and A show competitors, including equestrian team college scholarship winners and top-rated champions. Hunter-Equitation lessons are offered seven days a week through our "School Program," with services to meet every age and ability. We also lease lesson horses on a month-to-month basis and for show competition as available. Trailer in your own horse for lessons in our 45,000 square foot open arena, your trainer or ours, by contacting Maureen at 678-462-0660.
